It’s better you say it. Yes. I’m back again.
And how much I’ve missed WordPress. If I’m not wrong, I last posted here on 11 January. During the Zero to Hero challenge. I was not able to complete the challenge. Sigh. Ah, well! Exams had gotten in my way. But I don’t want to talk about the exams. What matter is –
For three months. Three. Months. Yeah. Aw man, I can’t imagine what fun I’ll have.
First of all, I can read again!!! The last time I read a book was 2 months ago. 2 months!!! And now I can finally resume my reading spree. I had challenged myself to read 100 books this year, and I just checked Goodreads. I’m 14 books behind schedule.
My main reading objective is to complete the Animorphs series. That is just one f*cking awesome book series! And after that, some other books on my Kindle. Some, I bought from the Kindle Store itself. That was a nice experience BTW. Just going to an online store as you normally would. Selecting the item. Buying it. After some time, it magically reaches you!
Anyway, yeah – some of them from the Kindle Store and others which I downloaded myself. The point is – I’m going to read my eyes to death! At least, that’s what I hope.
And then there’s football. My team seems to be in a well-off position now. And it sure is fun to watch them play! There’s one match tomorrow against Aston Villa, and then on the 18th against Galatasaray. Or should I say, against Big Didi? Nevertheless, after that, on the 22nd, against Arsenal. Personally, I consider that match as an advanced birthday gift. I just hope we win.
There’s nothing special I want to point out. Just that I will be watching each and every match I can.
So yeah, the first few days will pass like that – reading, football, Twitter. And then I’ll be going to stay at my mum’s place, where I’ll meet my cousins.
Oh, and avid followers of my blog will remember me talking about my Sony Cybershot DSC T70. It had a functioning problem where it kept on vibrating – preventing us from taking photos. Apparently, Sony is only good in the camcorder range.
So – I’ll be getting a DSLR!!!!!!!! (Thanks, acha :D)
Yeah, that’s right! My first ever! Oh boy, I can’t wait to start experimenting with it! I’ve taken some time to learn a bit of DSLR photography. Online learning rocks! So I’ve learnt quite a bit about ISO, shutter speed, F-stop and exposure. According to the laurels of the World Wide Web, you can only learn so much through theory. The rest is from experience.
Yeah, I can’t wait!!!
As if that’s not enough, I’m going back to my native continent (According to studies in evolution, every homo sapiens in the world has his native continent there)!!! Africa.
I can’t wait to see it. It’s been almost 6 years. 6 years, ya hear me?! According to our present itinerary, we’ll be going to some reserves and sanctuaries too!
So there’s a lot of things I can’t wait to do. After the trip to Mama Africa, it’s gonna be relatively boring. The results of the Exams come out in the end of May.
I’ll probably be free the whole of June, too. Our classes are supposed to start only in June. Even then, I have something to look forward to.
FIFA World Cup 20-14!
Brasil. I will be rooting for Belgium and Brasil this time. Actually, this is the first time I’m watching the World Cup with a genuine interest in football. I’m telling you – Belgium will win!
So, yeah, it’s gonna be a hell of a ride. I also look forward to writing more poems and stories.
Ah, well! I’ve shared my holiday plans with you. Dunno why, but need to make a statement, no? Well that’s about it for now. I properly, properly wish I do not fall out of blogging again.
Here, just for fun :
